General Information
De Kruitfabriek is a multifunctional event venue located in a historic building at Kruitpad 16 in Muiden. Our venue offers various spaces for events, meetings, workshops, weddings, and cultural activities in an inspiring setting with an industrial character.
The building in which De Kruitfabriek is located was originally part of a historical gunpowder factory. It has been carefully renovated to preserve its industrial elements and authentic details, while being equipped with modern facilities.
De Kruitfabriek is open by appointment for events and bookings. We are available Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Our Mas Fuertes is open on Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Wednesday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Saturday from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Reservations and Bookings
You can reserve a space by filling out the contact form on our website, sending an email to info@dekruitfabriek.nl, or calling us at +31(0)6 21 22 64 17. After your request, we will contact you to discuss your preferences and check availability.
The rental costs depend on various factors such as the specific space and the duration of the rental. Please contact us for a customized quote.
We recommend booking at least 4–6 weeks in advance for smaller gatherings, and at least 6 months in advance for larger events such as weddings. Popular dates fill up quickly, so the earlier you book, the better.
Up to 3 weeks before the event: cancellation is free of charge.
Between 2 and 3 weeks before the event: 50% of the total quoted amount will be charged.
Within 7 days of the event: 100% of the total quoted amount will be charged.
All cancellations must be submitted in writing.

Yes, you can travel via Weesp station or by bus to the P+R in Muiden. From the bus stop, it’s about a 10-minute walk to De Kruitfabriek.
