In December, we celebrated the annual dinner of the Royal Netherlands Sailing & Rowing Association at De Kruitfabriek. Our wish was fulfilled: a distinctive and atmospheric venue that truly suits the character of the association — a place where everyone felt welcome. Thanks to the exceptional hospitality of Maximiliaan and his positive, professional team, we enjoyed a sparkling and wonderful evening that we would absolutely love to repeat.

Last Saturday, we celebrated our wedding with around 120 guests at De Kruitfabriek, and it was an absolutely fantastic success. It truly couldn’t have been any better.

The venue is genuinely stunning: a former gunpowder factory with high ceilings and large windows, creating a warm and stylish atmosphere. The space is not only visually impressive, but also has excellent acoustics. We had both a live band and a DJ, and the sound was perfectly balanced.

The organisation was flawless. Maximiliaan takes care of everything in a relaxed yet highly professional manner. He actively thinks along, nothing is too much to ask, and his positive attitude is a real pleasure. Max truly takes the stress away and is also exceptionally kind and empathetic, which makes a real difference in the lead-up to such a special day.

We were able to taste the wines in advance, and they were of a very good standard. The catering was also excellently organised and of high quality.

Finally, the venue is very easy to reach and offers ample parking, which was greatly appreciated by our guests.

In short, De Kruitfabriek is a unique and atmospheric venue with a professional and relaxed organisation. We wholeheartedly recommend this location to anyone looking to host a truly special celebration.

On 27 November 2025, we (Zicht Risk and Insurance Advisors) were guests at Mas Fuertes/de Kruitfabriek in Muiden. What a wonderfully pleasant surprise!

First of all, there was plenty of parking available at the Kruitpad in Muiden. Once inside, you are welcomed into a warm atmosphere thanks to the beautiful location with its fine wood finish and the hospitable welcome by our host, Maximiliaan. He is happy to inform you — with knowledge and enthusiasm — about the Mas Fuertes products (wine, olive oil, ham, and honey) from the northeastern region of Spain, which are sold in the specialty shop.

We were there for a corporate meeting and had access to the tasting room for this purpose. A beautiful space with ample privacy and excellent facilities for presentations. After the presentations, we were treated to a delicious buffet. The cooperation and planning were exactly as agreed.

So, for a corporate meeting with a perfect meal, where all agreements are kept, I can recommend Mas Fuertes / de Kruitfabriek 100%.

We recently held a production at De Kruitfabriek and are very satisfied with how the day went. During both the setup and breakdown, as well as throughout the filming itself, we were well supported.

The location is versatile, atmospheric, and definitely suitable for various types of productions. Thanks to the smooth organization, we were able to fully focus on the shoot.

We therefore highly recommend De Kruitfabriek as a location.

Last weekend, we held a Zilch sample sale at De Kruitfabriek, in the charming Mas Fuertes are. What a fantastic location! Not only is the space beautiful, but it also exudes a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Thanks to its location near the Albert Heijn supermarket, many new customers stopped by, which led to some extra fun encounters.

The collaboration with Mas Fuertes was the icing on the cake; their delicious wines completed the atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back next time!

What a fantastic location!
I celebrated my 50th birthday at De Kruitfabriek in Muiden and it was, in a word, AMAZING! The location is truly beautiful. So atmospheric that extra decorations would actually be a waste. The space is high and spacious, allowing us to recreate a real club with lighting and music. The stage, the sound, and the atmosphere were perfect! The snacks were delicious, and Maestro Cortador completed the culinary feast. Outside, a cozy fire added to the atmosphere, while inside, everyone danced and enjoyed themselves. The location: a solid 10. The team: a 10. And me? I thoroughly enjoyed an unforgettable evening! In short: highly recommended for anyone who has something special to celebrate.

I celebrated my 50th birthday here. We scouted several locations, but after visiting the Kruitfabriek, it quickly became clear that this was where the party would be held. What a fantastic location, old-fashioned with a modern touch, very beautiful! Maximiliaan and his team were super flexible, and there were lots of options in terms of decoration and decorating ourselves. We decided to make the venue a little smaller by using pipe and drape and lighting it beautifully in the style of our theme. The tasty snacks were served quickly and there was a nice little culinary surprise for our guests. All in all, it was a very nice party, with the only downside being that the music had to be turned down a little after 11 p.m. due to the surroundings. This did not dampen the fun, and we look back on it with great pleasure!

A beautiful, modern location with an old-fashioned feel. Everything was neat, flexible, and well cared for. I can only say: go check it out! Apart from the location, the catering was also excellently arranged. In addition, Maximiliaan, the location manager, is really great!

We used the Kruitfabriek for television recordings. We really liked the location. It is a beautiful building with good parking facilities. They provide drinks and there is an option for food (we had a delicious walking buffet, which was convenient given the number of people and the fact that not everyone eats at the same time). The location is happy to help and is very flexible. They also communicate clearly. We are very satisfied.

We recently organized our ONE Event at the Kruitfabriek and can look back with great satisfaction on a very successful collaboration. From the first contact to the completion of the event, everything went extremely professionally and to our complete satisfaction. Communication with the Kruitfabriek team was clear, pleasant, and efficient. They proactively contributed ideas and every request was dealt with quickly and carefully. As a result, we as an organization had complete confidence that our event would run smoothly. The location itself offered excellent infrastructure and a representative appearance, which perfectly matched our wishes and expectations. In short, we are very satisfied with the service and cooperation with the Kruitfabriek and highly recommend this location for business meetings and events.
